2010 Coaching Staff
FIELD MANAGER COACH - KIP GROSS
A former major leaguer with the Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros, Kip Gross is best known for his prolific career in the Japanese Pacific League. The native of Scottsbluff, Nebraska led both the Nippon Ham Fighters and the JPL in wins from 1995-1996, before retiring in the year 2000.
He now joins in Victoria Seals as the second pitching coach in club history, working alongside Field Manager Bret Boone and Bench Coach Josh Arhart.
BENCH COACH - JOSH ARHART
A Golden Baseball League All-Star in 2009, Josh Arhart rejoins the Seals as one of the club's veteran leaders. The Santa Ana, California product will serve as the team's starting catcher after leading the Seals with a .325 batting average one year ago.
This will be the UCLA graduate's third season in the GBL, after scoring the championship-winning run as a member of the 2008 Orange County Flyers in 2008.
